Twilio is an integral part of your platform - it’s what lets you call contacts within the platform itself as well as keep important communication records.
In this article, I’m going to show you how to set up a Twilio number in your platform. Keep in mind that you’ll need to have both an agency-level account as well as a Twilio account.
First, let’s go to your platform and click Settings on the left menu.
And then click Twilio.
This is going to open a pop-up with two fields that need to be filled in - your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token. To get those values, you’ll need to go to www.twilio.com and open up your dashboard. On the right side of the main dashboard page, you’ll see the SID and Auth Token.
Copy these values and paste them back on the platform pop-up.
If you don’t have a Twilio account yet, you can click the Sign up button in the top right of the Twilio page to create one. You’ll also need to create a phone number and set up your billing plan before the values will appear in your dashboard.
And that’s it!
Congratulations, you’ve now integrated Twilio with your platform!
