Email templates can send mass emails to lists or specific contacts. In this article, we’ll show you how you can build a campaign and use templates to send out emails based on your requirements.
Click ‘Marketing’ in the side navigation.
Click ‘Campaigns’ from the email dropdown in the top menu.
In this section, all of your scheduled and delivered campaigns will be listed.
Click on ‘Create Campaign’.
Here you can choose to select which email template to use or create a new one by clicking the ‘Blank’ option.
Once you’ve selected the email template, click on the checkmark as shown below.
You’ll be redirected to the email builder, where you can make any changes to the email before sending it out.
Once you’re done making changes, click on the menu button in the top navigation.
This will give you options such as sending yourself a test email, previewing an email or accessing version history if you want to revert to an old version of the template.
Once your email template is finalized, you can either click on ‘Save’ and come back to it later or click ‘Send or Schedule’.
In the scheduling section, you can choose from a variety of sending options.
Then, select the recipients of the campaign.
Click on a single or more than one contact.
If you want to send to a smart list, select that option and select the list you want to use.
As previously mentioned, we have a few sending options.
Send now allows you to send the email to specific contacts right away.
Schedule allows you to select a date and time to send emails.
Batch schedule allows you to send emails to a large list in small batches.
In the screenshot above, we have scheduled to send two emails every minute from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
The RSS schedule enables a business to send updates and new publications via email automatically.
The RSS option is excellent for avoiding scheduling a campaign each time you post a brand new blog. With this option, you can schedule periodic updates automatically.
Paste the RSS feed URL here to share updates with the recipients.
The RSS campaign can be scheduled to send daily, weekly or monthly along with a suitable time.
Once you’re happy with the sending options, select schedule.
The scheduled campaign will appear under ‘Campaigns’ in the email drop-down.
Once the campaign is executed, the status will change from scheduled to send.
Now, you can click on the campaign to access statistics.
A pop-up will display the campaign statistics.
You can load more statistics, scroll down to see performance indicators, and change them from percentage to numbers by toggling the ‘Show stats in numbers’ option.
The load more statistics option will display various statistics for each recipient, such as those who clicked, opened, unsubscribed, etc. You can also export these statistics in a CSV format, as shown below.
