To start, letβs click Email Marketing on the left menu, and then choose Builder from the Forms dropdown.
We've already created a demo form with the name "LearnFree," and we'll use it for our triggers.
Now, let's click Automation on the left menu and then click Triggers on the top menu.
This is our main Triggers view. Here you can create triggers to automate actions in your CRM.
To create a trigger, click New Basic Rule in the upper right.
And then give your rule a name in the pop-up. Click Save to create it.
Next, we'll define the conditions and actions for the rule.
Let's start with the conditions. Click the dropdown list to select a trigger.
We've selected Form Submitted as our trigger, and we'll click Add Filter to specify which form to use.
Click the Select filter dropdown, and then choose the Form Is option.
Lastly, let's open the Select Form dropdown list to display our previously-created forms.
And we'll select the Learnfree form.
So far, we've told our rule to trigger whenever someone submits the Learnfree form.
Now, we'll need to define what action happens when this form is submitted.
Click Add Action on the right.
And choose an action from the dropdown list.
We've selected "Add to Campaign."
Next, we'll need to specify which campaign to add the contact to.
Click the Select Campaign dropdown to get a list of previously created campaigns.
Let's select "TestCampaign" from the list.
You can also click Add action again to add more actions to the same trigger, and the same process is repeated.
This time, we'll select the "Add/Update Opportunity" action.
In the next field, we'll select TestPipeline2 to specify which pipeline to add the opportunity to.
In the next dropdown, weβll decide what stage of the pipeline we want the opportunity to be added to. Let's select the Lead Stage.
We can leave the next three fields blank.
You can also specify a status for the opportunity by clicking the Select Status dropdown. If left blank, the opportunity is considered open by default.
Then, you'll choose whether you'd like to enable the two toggles at the bottom.
After you've added your conditions and actions, go back to the top of the page.
Click the draft dropdown and change the status from draft to Activate.
And then click Save.
To return to your main Triggers view, click this back arrow.
And we can now see the new trigger we've just created.
