In this article, I'm going to expand on that concept and show you how to develop an offer for your membership site. As you can see, this will cover the last two steps on our checklist, Offer Content, and Offer Checkout Page Content.

Like before, I've gone ahead and already arranged all the content we'll need in local folders.

To start, let’s click Offers from our Memberships submenu.

This is our Offers view. All the offers set up for your membership site will show up here.

We want to build a new offer, so click Create Offer.

This opens an Offer details page.

We’ll need to fill in the title field. Using a text file in our Step 6 folder, we can copy and paste the title.

Next, we’ll select the product for the offer. If you have multiple products, they'll appear in this dropdown. We only have one product for our demo, so it's selected automatically.

In the last field, you can set a price and currency for your offer, as well as the currency. We're going to leave this offer with a price of zero.

Lastly, click Create, and a message appears in the top right to confirm that our offer has been created.

This will also open a new page to customize our offer.

In the description field, you can use the editor to create your description. We've already written our description, so we'll copy it from our text file and paste it here.

Next, let's click on the Advanced dropdown below the description.

This opens text boxes for JavaScript and CSS. This is where you would add custom code to your offer page.

Below the code area, you can add additional products to the offer if desired.

To the right, you'll find a box for editing the offer price.

Free Offer is displayed because we set our price to zero in the previous step. We'll click Edit price to open our pricing options.

This opens a new window. To change the default free offer text, simply modify the text in the Price text override field.

If you want to charge for your product, there are two types of payments you can enable from the tabs at the top of the window: a one-time payment or a recurring subscription. As in the initial offer setup, you can set your price and currency in this window

Or change the text to a custom phrase.

For recurring subscriptions, there are a few more options. If you've previously created a subscription plan, it will appear in the dropdown. You can create as many different subscription plans as you want.

To set the price for your recurring subscription, fill in the Display amount field.

And if you'd like to add a setup fee, enter the price and currency in the next field.

In addition, you can create a trial period for a set number of days before the user is billed. Entering zero disables the trial feature.

And like before, you can enter your own text using the price text override field.

Once all price settings are correct, click Save Plan.

Back on the offer page, you can add an image to your offer below the price area.

Click select image, and then click Upload New Image.

In the popup, click Choose file, locate the image you want to use, select it, and click open.

Once the image has appeared, click Upload.

To make your offer live, you'll need to change the status from draft to published.

Lastly, click Save at the top right.

Great! A confirmation has appeared and our offer is saved.

Now, let's set up our checkout page.

Click Edit Checkout under the offer title.

This opens a checkout page settings area.

To start, click Offer Details on the left menu.

Under the title field, you can add a banner image to your checkout page or leave the default banner. We're going to upload our own, so we'll click Pick File.

In the popup, click Choose file, locate the image you want to use, select it, and click open.

Once the image has appeared, click Upload.

If you're using a custom banner, make sure that the Enable Banner checkbox is enabled.

Your banner height is adjusted in the field below the image.

You can also add an intro video to your checkout page, which we'll do right now. Click Add Video.

In the popup, click Choose file, locate the video file you want to use, select it, and click open.

Once the upload is done, click Save at the top of the offer details menu.

Great! Both our banner image and video now show up on our checkout page.

If you want to use an image instead of a video, you can add it in the poster image field below the video area. For this demo, we're going to use our video.

Below the poster image area, you can also add a logo image that will be displayed above the banner. We're going to leave this blank for our demo as well.

At the bottom of your offer details menu, click Edit Checkout Copy to create text for your checkout page.

And once all offer details are set, make sure to click Save again.

Now, let’s click Back at the top left to return to the previous menu, and we’ll click Extra Contact Info.

By default, the only fields needed for a user to check out are their email address and name. However, you can edit this area to capture more information.

On the Extra Contact Information menu to the left, you can enable required address and phone number fields.

To do that, tick these two checkboxes. You may select one or both to be added. We're going to add both, and then click Save.

As you can see, the checkout form now has additional fields for the user to enter before it can be submitted.

At the top left, let's click Back to discover the last option for our offer checkout page.

The final entry on the left menu is Service Agreement. Let's click Service Agreement now.

The default setting for service agreement is "Not Required.” If you select "Required," your users will have to agree with the terms and conditions of your offer before submitting their details.

We're going to leave our demo with the "Not Required" option. If you've made any changes, click Save.

Let's click Back and return to our main offer checkout view.

At the very top of the page, click Offers.

This takes us back to our main Offers view.

And the offer we've just created is right here. Let's click on the eye icon to see a preview of how it looks.

This opens our completed offer checkout page.

To test it out, we've entered dummy data. When we click submit, the dummy user will be created as a contact in our platform, and the subscriber will be directed to a thank you page.

The user sees this thank you message, with a link to their course library (View Dashboard).

To experience it from the user's perspective, let's click View Dashboard now.

When they open their library, a user will see all products in their subscription. Our demo offer only has 1 product, so no other products are displayed.

Let's drill down further by clicking View Product.

This opens our main product page where the user can click individual lessons that are part of our course.

Let's switch back to our platform to see how it handles the new contact. Click Contacts on the left menu and you can see that Arthur, our new contact, has been added to the system.

Let's click his name, which opens the Conversations view.

Then, we’ll scroll down on the left column until we come to the offers area. You'll notice that Arthur is already tagged with our product offer.

You can also use the dropdown to add offers manually to an individual contact. To remove an offer, simply click the X to the right of the offer tag.

This concludes our guide to your platform's features for creating memberships and offers.

Good luck with your new membership site!
