How To Create A New Website

The website editor is very similar to the funnel editor, so you ca start creating your website and its pages in no time!

 

Navigate To The Sites Tab

 

Go To Websites

This will take you to the main menu where you can see all existing websites.

 

Create a New Website

Click on "+ Create New Website" to start creating your website.

If you're creating the website from scratchenter the name for your website.

If you're planning to use a template, click on "Go to Template Library".

 

Creating Website From Scratch

Once the website menu opens, click on "Create from Blank".

 

Step 1: Add A Section

A Section is the space where you can group your elements together (images, text, buttons, etc.), and you can have a variety of elements within one section.

This is specially helpful if you'd like to have defined sections or areas on your website.

To start building your website, click on "Full Width" on the sections menu.

 

Step 2: Add Rows

Next, add rows in order to add elements to your sections. You can do 1 or more rows depending on the layout you'd like to have.

Click on "Rows" at the top, then select the number of rows you want.

 

Step 3: Add Elements

To add an element, simply drag it and drop it on a row.

You can get creative with the elements to add into your website. The most common element types are:

 

Edit Elements

Click on top of each element to edit them out. This will show you a menu on the left side unique for every element.

You're able to adjust the settings depending on the element you're editing.

 

 

Edit Image Elements

Once you click on an element (in this case, an image element), an menu will show on the left side with ALL editing option for this element.

You're able to adjust the alignment, width and height, and you can also change the image by clicking on the "gallery" icon.

 

Edit Button Elements

Once you click on an element (in this case, a button element), an menu will show on the left side with ALL editing options for this element.

You're able to adjust the alignment, width and height, color, alignment. But most importantly, you can adjust the button text and the button action when clicked.

 

Edit Text Elements

Once you click on an element (in this case, a text element), an menu will show on the left side with ALL editing options for this element. You're able to adjust the alignment, color and font style.

You'll be able to change the text and type in directly on the element. The formatting for the text will show at the top.

 

Preview Your Website

Once you've finished editing, click on "Preview" at the top right, to see your website and make sure all changes look good and work accurately.

 

Save it!

Once you're happy with the looks of your website, click on "Save".

 

2. Using a Website Template

 

Template Library

There are many website templates to choose from in the system depending on the niche you are in.

To get there, click on "Go to Template Library".

 

Select A Category

 

Choose the category, then click on "See Templates". For this example, we will choose the "Spa" template.

 

Select a Website Template

For some categories, there will be more than 1 template available. Click on the template that fits your style and niche best.

 

Get The Template

Agree to the terms by checking the box, then click on the "Get this template" button.

 

Edit Your Website Template

Click on top of the name of the template you chose to access all pages and editing options.

 

Select The Page To Edit

Website Templates come with several pages that include: a contact page, about us page, services page, etc.

Click on the orange "Edit" button, then "Edit Page" to access the website builder.

 

Select Elements To Edit

The first thing you need to do is select an element to edit. Elements are the main components of a website, and there are several types to choose from. Your template will have the elements already created and organized together.

To select your element, hover your mouse over them. They will be surrounded by an orange box and that's when you can click on them.

 

Edit Image Elements

Once you click on an element (in this case, an image element), an menu will show on the left side with ALL editing option for this element.

You're able to adjust the alignment, width and height, and you can also change the image by clicking on the "Gallery" icon.

 

Edit Button Elements
